This is a time when a lot of people start planning their next vacation. We would be delighted to assist you to enjoy a rent-free holiday and / or to have a Christian look after your home and pets while you are away.
We trust that you, and hundreds of other Christians all around the world will benefit from this site.

We all love a holiday but it can be a nightmare. There is the expense, the concern about your house while you are away, worries about your animals finding suitable accommodation at your destination etc.
Christian House Sitters can help you overcome many of these problems giving you a better holiday that costs less and offering peace of mind. Whilst at the same time you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are also helping other Christians and supporting Christian work in Africa.
Christians who want to take a holiday and need someone to look after their home and or pets can register.
Christians who need a break can register.
We will put the two halves together.
This way we hope many Christians who could not afford a holiday will be enabled to take a break and see other countries.
HOUSE SITTERS
By becoming a registered House sitter you will benefit by being able to have short or long breaks in your own country or abroad.
Your only expense will be the actual cost of travelling to and from the destination and your food.
You will know that you are helping another Christian and that when you arrive you will be introduced to their Church and Christian friends.
Naturally it is entirely up to you to decide if you want to get involved or not.
Having done house sitting ourselves we know that arriving in a strange place knowing nobody can be lonely.This should be overcome through using this Christian website.
HOUSE OWNERS
Note you do not need to actually own the property to register as a home owner. (See FAQ)
You benefit from being able to leave your home and animals in the care of a Christian who you have confidence will love the animals and care for you property honestly.
You will also know that you are helping another Christian to have a holiday.
You have the added security of being able to ask prospective House Sitters for a reference from their Church leaders. You can go away not having to worry about your home and animals
Your only expenses are the normal gas and electricity charges
House Sitters normally cover their own telephone costs
In the UK having someone to look after your pets costs an average of £200 per week. The majority of us can't afford that.
Also if you hire a sitter through an agency they select the person. You have no idea who you are letting into your home.
Using this service you are able to make contact with potential sitters and prayerfully select the right person or people.
COST.
Registration as a Home Owner is FREE.
Registration as a Sitter is £20 per year.
There are no other charges.

It is really easy. Just click on the REGISTER link in the menu on the left of this page. Registration only takes a few minutes.
SUPPORTING CHRISTIAN WORK IN AFRICA
We run this site to help Christians have an affordable holiday and to support Christian work in Africa.
50% of all income received for membership fees will be given to the Home of Hope Orphanage in Siaya Kenya in order to provide the orphans with food and other basic necessities. This orphanage is run by Pastor Josiah and Erick who was a street child of about 9 years old when he was rescued by the Osare Christian Orphanage.

The other 50% will be used to cover the cost of running the site. That included the web hosting fee, The use of Stream Send to notify our members of new houses, the cost of the internet connection, etc. At the moment the 50% does not fully cover these costs.
Christian House Sitters is not a money making business but a Ministry and as it expands we plan to increase the amount that is given to support the work of God.
